Dear Patients,

​

I'm writing to hare an update regarding my professional transition and the ongoing evolution of care at Cole Harbour Family Medicine.

​

Thank you for your patient over the past several months, as we have been actively recruiting the perfect candidate and as I have been gradually shifting my role at the clinic.  In addition to my work with Physician Assessment Centre of Excellence (PACE) in Halifax, I am now also providing care in several long-term care homes and will soon also be working in an administrative role with Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA).  These new roles have been both rewarding and meaningful, allowing me to contribute to improving access to primary care and supporting physicians across the province.

I am very pleased to share that the clinic has successfully recruited a new family physician, Dr. Christopher Lindshield, who will begin transitioning into practice early December. 

​

Dr. Lindshield grew up in California before moving to Hawaii to complete his residency in family medicine.  He served for 12 years in the U.S. Air Force and the past four years in the Air National Guard.  He and his wife are excited to explore Nova Scotia with their three Huskies.

​

As Dr. Lindshield joins our team, I will continue to work closely with him to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of care for all patients.

​

It has been an absolute privilege to care for you and your families over the years.  The relationships and trust we've built together have been among the most meaningful parts of my career, and I remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been part of your health journey. 

​
