Dear Patients,

After much thought and consideration, I have decided to retire from my practice at Cole Harbour Family Medicine.  While this has been a difficult decision, I feel it is the right one for both myself and the future of the practice.

 

I understand that change can sometimes bring uncertainty, but I want to assure you that your care will continue to be in excellent hands.  I am very pleased to introduced Dr. Victoria Mercer, a talented and compassionate physician who will be joining our practice in November of 2025.  Dr. Mercer and I will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition of care.

 

I will continue to see pre-booked appointments through December 2025 and will remain available in some capacity into the winter of 2026.  Beginning in the near future, our administrative team will start scheduling appointments with Dr. Mercer.  Her schedule will officially open once she is fully onboarded and begins seeing patients at our clinic in November.    Dr.  Hilary Kinnear will continue to share this practice.

 

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the longer wait times many of you have experienced in recent yeas.  Your patience and loyalty have meant so much, and I am deeply grateful.  It has truly been a privilege to care for you and your families over the past fifteen years.
